Smoor has an exciting vibe, which invites you in with its arms wide open and as you enter you can sense the chocolate aroma wafting through the air. The interiors are plush and classy, making Smoor one of the finest chocolate boutique in town. The place also has a private dining area and outdoor seating option.
We felt like we have suddenly aged right down to a kid when we could no longer contain our excitement (Chocolates everywhere!). The moment we entered, we knew it's "OUR KINDA BAR" (You don't need alcohol to get high here)
What makes this better is that there is something beyond chocolates as well. Think Soup, Salad, Sandwich, Pasta, Burger and Wood fire Pizza. Breakfast is currently available on weekends (Eggs Benedict, Pancakes, Omelette, French Toast and outdoor seating - Ah, perfect!)
The dessert options range from cakes, chocolates to ice cream.
The chocolates at Smoor are carefully handcrafted, using only the finest ingredients and single origin cacao beans developed by talented chocolatiers. Almond Sensation Milk, Rum Truffles, Mango Truffle, Raspberry, Chilli, Rocher, Assam Praline, Hazelnut Orange Burst - They have a chocolate for every mood. We tried (and loved) Hazelnut Orange Burst (Crisp blended in smooth hazelnut and orange praline filling) and Chilli (White chocolate couverture shell with spicy chilli ganache).
Plated desserts are worth trying! We tried Choco Nemalaka with Raspberry (Dark chocolate cremeux, Raspberry fluid gel, black tea cremeux, raspberry sponge, raspberry and rose jam, candied pink rose petals) and Coco Indiana (Coconut and turmeric cake, coconut mousse, khova crumbs, lemon curd, curry leaf powder, coconut tuiles). While you may be a little confused about turmeric cake, that's when you appreciate Smoor's effort to add an Indian touch to the desserts.
For ice-cream, we tried Strawberries and Cream, Black and White, and Guava ice-cream. (The dessert menu is so inviting, that you will not step out of Smoor without trying one!)
